Jamaica

This summer, a group of six young adults will travel to Jamaica to take part in a life-changing week-long mission trip from June 20-26th.

This marks the first year of St. Mark's involvement in sending a team to Jamaica through Praying Pelican Missions. Our team will be serving in the Roses Valley community, which is about an hour and a half outside of Montego Bay. During our stay, we will be primarily be interacting with children at the community schools. We will serve through assisting the teachers with lessons, providing individual academic help, as well as leading games, crafts and music . In addition to serving at the schools, we will have the opportunity to visit and interact with the residents at an elderly care facility.
