Why I joined the Jamaica Mission Team...
Growing up at St. Marks I took part in youth group as much as I could. I went to SSP 5 times. When I graduated high school I was sad to learn that there were no programs available for young adults to partake in. When Marya mentioned a mission trip to Jamaica for people of my age, I jumped at the idea. The idea of working with children who are less privelaged than others appealed to me. I am so excited to spend part of my summer teaching games to the school aged children of Jamaica!
